PointCompass is a compass and orientation app created by CodeFlight LLC. This privacy policy explains how PointCompass uses information and device capabilities.

Information PointCompass Uses

PointCompass uses device capabilities and information needed to provide compass and orientation features. This may include location data, compass data, motion and orientation data, device sensor data, heading information, bearing information, coordinates, elevation, and location accuracy.

PointCompass does not require an account.

How PointCompass Uses Information

PointCompass uses information to display your current heading, locked bearing, reciprocal bearing, coordinates, elevation, location accuracy, and device level.

This information is used to provide app functionality.

Location and Sensor Data

PointCompass may request access to your location and device sensors so it can display compass, bearing, coordinate, elevation, accuracy, and level information.

Location and sensor data are used while you use the app. CodeFlight does not sell this data.

Apple Maps

PointCompass allows you to open your current coordinates in Apple Maps. If you choose to open a location in Apple Maps, your use of Apple Maps is subject to Apple’s privacy practices and settings.

Data Sharing

CodeFlight does not sell personal information.

PointCompass does not require an account and is designed to use location and sensor information for app functionality.

CodeFlight may receive information you choose to provide if you contact us for support.

Data Retention

PointCompass is designed to use the information needed for compass and orientation functionality.

Information you send to CodeFlight for support may be retained as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve issues, or comply with legal obligations.

Your Choices

You can control app permissions, including location access, in your device settings.

On iOS, macOS and iPadOS, you can review or change permissions by opening Settings, selecting the app, and adjusting the available permission options.

You may contact CodeFlight to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided to us.

Children’s Privacy

PointCompass is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to CodeFlight, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
